Reducing Principle Mortgage Debt-A Voluntary Private Market Solution
Homeowners, the Strike.us are a simple concept. Our professional negotiators will represent the over 75 million homeowners that are upside down on their homes in a Class A type negotiation with the banks and financial institutions that claim to own our mortgages. This approach is a Voluntary Private Market Solution: reduce what homeowners owe to current market values (principle mortgage reduction).
By reducing what homeowners owe, we reset the real estate market creating a level-playing field for equity growth. Resetting the real estate market will finally release homeowners across the country from "house arrest," allowing us to buy again, to sell or refinance our properties again. This tremendous real estate activity in itself will put our economy back on track, creating much needed jobs.
Additionally, reducing the principle of our mortgages puts money back in homeowners' pockets, and equity back into our homes. This equity and lower monthly payments for millions of homeowners translates into homeowners having money to save, to spend on much needed home repairs, or a much needed night to splurge on our families that have been distressed for so long. Property values will increase based on market forces, not Wall Street manipulation, and that increase will provide the necessary revenue for our municipalities to fund our schools, hire back our teachers, police officers, and firemen.
What if the banks don't negotiate?
On 4 November, 2010, "We the Homeowners" go on Strike. In unison, we stop paying our mortgages! We live in our homes mortgage free months if not years, while the backlogged foreclosure system creates extreme pressure on the banks. We partner with local banks and credit unions to be our loan agents and move our assets and investments into them, bypassing the big-banks corrupt and rigged credit rating system.
Homeowners Unite! We encourage you to join the Strike, the first organization in the country representing homeowner's interest. Please sign our online petition to get the banks to negotiate a reduction in the principle amounts of our mortgages to current home values!
Power in numbers, please spread the word.
