As homeowners continue to struggle, we are unable to refinance to lower interest rates; unable to sale our homes in this current recessed market; unable to borrow against our homes due to the loss of equity and value; we are trapped.

If we would have let the banks fail, our contracts (mortgages) would have been breached and we could have renegotiated the agreement. The bailout allowed the banks to recover without paying a price and they quickly changed the rules to their favor.

The homeowner is the only part of the realty industry that is not represented in Washington. Until now, there was no Homeowner Lobby, no one representing our interests. Join now by signing the free petition and become a part of the first homeowner lobby. We are the backbone of our democracy and of our capitalist system. We are the working class, and if we speak with one voice, we will be heard.

What we are saying is that we want our bailout, a Bailout for Homeowners! We have a remedy. The mortgage contract allows the homeowner borrow money from the bank toward the purchase of property. If the homeowner defaults on the contract and does not make payments on that loan, the bank takes ownership of the property.

The banks fear homeowners walking away. Mortgage companies have been reluctant to reduce mortgage principal over worries about "moral contagion, with people not paying their mortgage or re-defaulting because they believed the bank would reduce their principal," Mr. Das said.

Our plan is to join forces, as homeowners, to negotiate en masse with the banks to reduce the principle amount of our mortgages. This will reset the market to market values, decreasing monthly mortgage payments, allowing homeowners to stay in their homes, and creating market stability.

We have strength in numbers! The banks won't negotiate with individual homeowners. But as a single voice, the banks will have to make a financial decision. Either they agree to negotiate a reduction in the principle amount of the mortgages, or homeowners all across America will go on strike-we will refuse to pay the mortgage. If the banks choose to move to foreclosure, they will have to litigate with over 114,000,000 American homeowners at a potential loss to them of between $50,000 and $80,000 per home. Power in Numbers!

Homeowners Unite! We encourage you to join the Strike, the first organization in the country representing homeowner's interest. Please sign our online petition to get the banks to negotiate a reduction in the principle amounts of our mortgages to current home values!

Power in numbers, please spread the word.
